It only takes the willingness to go outside the house, travel by the subway for a couple of stations, and the willingness to have your heart open then torn into pieces by the honesty and sheer amount of feelings people share at an open mic poetry night with a jam session to realize how complex being a human on this planet in these times really is.
This aftermovie was shot, written, edited, voice-overed, and directed by me, but in the company of everyone who attended these beautiful nights by GenF & Echoes Haus.
GenF is an NGO aiming to raise the next generation of women by providing a platform for young artists who want to showcase their artwork.
